A Light That Shines: Judy’s Story
Meet Judy.
Before moving to Perry Lutheran Homes, she couldn’t attend church or sing in the choir—two things that always brought her joy.
Today, she attends church, Bible study, and choir regularly. She greets everyone with a cheerful, “Hi! I’m Judy!” She asks staff and residents to pray for her. She sings her favorite song, "How Great Thou Art," for residents and staff often. And this summer, she enjoyed sharing her faith with the children that attended Vacation Bible School. Because of supporters like you, Judy is thriving, connecting, and shining brightly.
As Matthew 5:14 reminds us, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” At Perry Lutheran Homes, we see this light every day—in residents, staff, and donors—creating a ripple effect of hope, faith, and joy.Your year-end gift ensures residents like Judy can continue to live fully. Every donation helps fund faith-based programs, social activities, and personalized care—providing opportunities to sing, worship, and engage in meaningful ways that brighten their days.
Together, we shine God’s love throughout our community. This year, your gift can make an immediate impact—bringing joy, connection, and hope to every resident on our campus.
Please give today and help us keep the light shining for Judy and all our residents.
In Christ Jesus our Savior,
